Dynamic Skin Services
Privacy Policy
This page explains, in plain language, how Dynamic Skin Services in Crawley handles the details you share through our website. We collect only what we need to reply to you and help arrange your visit, and we handle your information in line with the Privacy Act 1988. This is a template prepared for legal review, not yet final advice.
What details we collect
When you use our website, we collect only the details you choose to give us so that we can respond. This usually includes:
- Your name, so we know who we are speaking with.
- Your contact details, such as a phone number or email, so we can get back to you.
- The general nature of your enquiry, for example an IPL treatment, radiofrequency, a facial, cosmetic tattooing or a Skin Rejuvenation Consultation.
If you go on to book and attend the clinic, we also collect the skin and general health information relevant to your treatment, such as your skin history, sensitivities and suitability. Under the Privacy Act 1988 this can be sensitive information: we collect it with your consent and use it only to provide safe, suitable care.
Please do not send detailed health history through a general website message. The specifics are best discussed during your consultation with Brenda.
How we use your details
We use the information you give us for clear, limited purposes:
- To reply to your enquiry and answer your questions about our treatments.
- To help arrange or confirm your appointments with Brenda.
- To keep an accurate record of our correspondence and your care.
From time to time we may send you appointment reminders or clinic news by SMS or email. We only do this in line with the Spam Act 2003, which means we send marketing where you have given consent, we identify ourselves clearly, and we give you a simple way to opt out. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contacting us to be removed. Opting out will not affect the care you receive.
We do not sell your information. We will only share it where it is genuinely needed to provide the service you have asked for, or where we are required to by law.
Cookies and analytics
Our website may use cookies and similar technology to help the site work and to understand, in general terms, how visitors use it. Where analytics are used, they are intended to operate on a consent basis, and you can usually decline or limit cookies through your browser settings or any consent prompt shown on the site.
This helps us improve the experience for people across Crawley, Nedlands, Subiaco, Claremont and the western suburbs. We aim to keep it minimal, to handle it with care, and to give you honest, accurate information in line with Australian Consumer Law.
Third parties we work with
A few trusted services help us run the clinic and this website. Where they handle your information, they do so under their own terms and privacy practices, and we encourage you to read those where relevant:
- Timely - our online booking system. Bookings are not completed on this website. When you choose to book, you are directed to our Timely booking page, and any appointment times and details you enter there are held by Timely under its own privacy terms.
- Google - we may use Google services such as website analytics, maps and our Google Business Profile. If you find or contact us through Google, or leave a review, that interaction is also subject to Google's own privacy terms.
We share your details with these providers only to the extent needed to arrange and deliver the service you have asked for.
Your rights
You can ask us about the information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct anything that is wrong or out of date, in line with your rights under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. We will respond to reasonable requests and explain the next steps.
If we are ever unable to resolve a privacy concern with you directly, you may also raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Please note this policy is a plain-language template. It describes our intended approach but has not yet been finalised by a qualified adviser, and we intend to have it reviewed and confirmed before it is treated as final.
